Shenandoah Academy opened in August, 2003 as an
alternative educational program for identified emotionally disturbed
students unable to succeed in programs available within public
schools, but who do not require a more restrictive residential
program. Located in Harrisonburg, VA., Shenandoah Academy is situated
to serve children from Warren County to Highland County and Rockingham
to Albemarle County including the counties of Page, Shenandoah,
Rockbridge, Augusta and Greene and the cities of Harrisonburg, Staunton, Front
Royal, Waynesboro and Charlottesville.
