Opportunities
Family Centered Practitioner -
This is a part-time position leading to full time for a qualified mental health
professional with an undergraduate degree in Psychology or human services field
and two years related experience working with youth. The Family Centered
Practitioner provides In-Home, child-centered, family focused counseling
utilizing a systems approach. On-going training and support is provided by
our strong Child & Family Guidance team.
Program Counselor -
This Part-Time position provides individual, group, and family counseling for
up to eight residents in Cameron House, Specialized Youth Services' Therapeutic
Group Home. Flexible hours must include afternoon/evening and occasional
weekend availability. Counselor must hold a Masters degree and be licensed or
license eligible.
Day Treatment Program Manager -
This position requires strong organizational, communication and leadership
skills, and program planning experience. Is responsible for a Medicaid
approved Day Treatment program serving approximately 20 emotionally disabled
children. Must have an undergraduate degree in a human services field with 2
years related leadership experience.
Residential Counselors -
Full Time, Part time and "As Needed" for Residential Treatment Program.
This position requires a confident and conscientious self-starter with
undergraduate degree and experience working with adolescents in intensive
treatment, educational or human services setting required. Must have an
understanding of human development, strong observation skills with an attention
to detail, and the ability to work as part of a treatment team. First Aid,
CPR, Medication Management and a VA driver's license with good driving record
required.
Youth Care Worker -
Full Time, Part Time and "as Needed" for Therapeutic Group Home. This position
requires a confident and conscientious self-starter with undergraduate degree
and one year related work experience. Work experience may include mental
health, education or human services. First Aid, CPR, Medication Management
and a VA driver's license with good driving record required.
Secretary / Receptionist -
Experienced Secretary/Receptionist to provide clerical support for therapeutic
day school. Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, manage multiple
phone lines and priorities and must possess exceptional interpersonal skills
along with being a self-starter. Requires minimum high school education,
experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word essential, Access, and
Excel helpful. Must have a minimum typing speed of 55wpm.
Program Therapist -
To provide individual, group, and family therapies to Special Education and
at-risk youth in a Residential Treatment Program. Must be licensed or license
eligible with a Masters Degree from an accredited college or university.
Must be a flexible and dynamic individual with knowledge of residential
procedures.
