Specialized Youth Services of Virginia, Inc. was established in 1991 to provide educational and treatment services to ED/LD and other at-risk children who cannot be successfully served through their local schools or other public service agencies.

Philosophy: Specialized Youth Services of VA believes the greatest way to foster a child's positive development is to provide an environment that is safe and secure, and that recognizes the personal strengths of the individual.

Mission: Our mission is to help each child assigned to our care develop to his greatest capacity and to become a self-sufficient and contributing member of his community.

In-Home counseling
Medicaid approved Day Treatment Programs. Petersburg and Harrisonburg locations.
One-to-one behavioral support to maintain Child's school/community placement.
